Crane Drexel Shell Pink Bathroom Sink With Towel Bars and legs Circa: 1955 This iconic midcentury sink is in excellent condition for its 74 years, with relatively few signs of prior use to be found. The pink porcelain has a nice glossy appearance, and the chrome gleams. Top to bottom details. The trip waste cap functions properly, and the chrome is fine, save for a small wear spot that is virtually invisible from the front. The top of the backsplash is free of any blemishes, and this holds true for the two slanted areas, the spout, and the vertical faces of the backsplash. The dome faucet handles are very nice in appearance, and they both work as they should. The chrome is excellent all the way down to the bottom edges, where there is some slight deterioration. The area running around the basin has just the slightest wear toward the right side and the rest is excellent including the soap depression. The entire interior of the basin is excellent without a single chip present and no wear. The original drain plug's chrome top is fine, as is the rest of the piece, and the flange has some wear on the left side. Save for some tiny blemishes on the right side of the front of the exterior of the sink, all is in very nice condition with no damage or scratches. What is on the front's right side are two tiny, shallow chips, the largest measuring 0.04", and some faint scratches in the same area. The rest, like the sides, is spotless. Both towel racks look very good overall. There is some slight pitting on the front of the right one; otherwise, they are good. The underside of the sink is free of any damage or wear and is very good overall. The legs have some small blemishes but no pitting, except at the very bottom. They look good on the whole, and the height adjustments function properly. This sink includes the original wall brackets, and the chrome valves, trap, etc. Every piece is in good, usable condition with very little chrome deterioration.
