The visual inspiration for this necklace were the feathers on an angel's wings. When I was designing this necklace, I pictured a epic battle between good and evil angels. The idea behind this necklace is that good and bad is always at conflict within each one of us. ♥♥♥ About This Necklace ♥♥♥ When I was designing this piece, I drew a lot of inspiration from Renaissance period artworks. In particular, I was drawn to images of Archangels with their enormous feathered wings outstretched. The visual inspiration for this necklace were the feathers on an angel's wings. When I was designing this necklace, I pictured a epic battle between good and evil angels. The idea behind this necklace is that good and bad is always at conflict within each one of us. Each metal feather grouping was made individually and then soldered onto the main structure to achieve the angel wing effect. The necklace is flexible and will conform comfortably to the wearer's necklace. This necklace was plated with a silver and rhodium mixture with a very slight patina for that antiqued silver look.
