This is a  beautifully executed piece of art. The etched eagle and swirl design is fantastic. There are no chips or cracks.  It appears to have some type of texture on the surface. It is  approximately 3.75 " tall  by 2.8" wide.  Vangie Tafoya was born in the village of Jemez Pueblo, (Walatowa) located approximately 55 miles NW of Albuquerque, NM. As an accomplished artist, she has been making pottery for over twenty years. She comes from a long line of potters, originating from her grandmother.
