I originally inherited a complete service for 12, with serving dishes (each place setting was comprised of 13 pieces!). I photographed each plate individually, so you can see what great shape they are in, all together. I am selling these 8 gorgeous (technically) salad plates, as a set only, thinking someone will more likely want them to serve elegant desserts. My relative also had bought out all the remaining pieces from a jewelry store when they were closing in the 1930s. I occasionally used parts of the set, but it was impractical for anyone without a maid or butler to serve, unless they wanted to spend the entire meal jumping up and down to serve the next course using all the fancy plates. I sold the set to buy my first computer and saved some extra pieces, just for fun. Now I'm downsizing, so it is time to pass these on to someone who will appreciate them and use them more than I do. No chips or cracks, but a (very) few of the little gold "points" have some slight gold loss. I photographed each plate individually, so you can see what great shape they are in, all together.
