The necklace consists of 85 pearls plus the one in the clasp. PROVENANCE .   My wife inherited this necklace from her aunt in the 1960s.   She never wore it because it was never her fashion style.   So it went into the jewelry box where it has lain ever since.   Recently she decided it was time to sell it to someone who would appreciate it. CONDITION.   Because her aunt cared for it well during its brief period of usage and then it went into storage, this vintage necklace is in perfect condition as the photos document: ·         Every pearl is perfect ·         Every knot in the string between every pearl is perfect as are the two end connections ·         The two components of the clasp are perfect and they work perfectly ·         The gold rose and its pearl insert are perfect.   COLOR.   The faux pearls are best described as a creamy white color.   The first few photos showing the entire necklace best approximate the true color of the pearls.   The close-up photos seem to artificially add to the pearls a darker rose color which they do not have. SIZES – NECKLACE & PEARLS.   The necklace is 30 inches long as shown in the last photo. Each pearl is 8 millimeters in diameter.   The necklace consists of 85 pearls plus the one in the clasp.
