Their bags were different from bags made in France/Belgium/US in several ways. The hand beading skill was exceptional in Hong Kong & Japan and they used natural materials and pearl seed beads and iridescent sequins. They also used mother of pearl (not on this bag) on some bags. They used brass/gold hardware that was rigid and well made. This bag has the seed pearls/iridescent sequins with a single strap handle. The interior is signed "Hand Made in Hong Kong" The seed beads form a beautiful natural floral pattern on both sides of the bag. This bag has a different pattern on each side. The interior is a clean ivory silk. Vintage Condition. There is a stain to silk on inside of strap. Please review all photos.
