View 2008 Goebel Angel Bell Annual Christmas Tree Ornament - 33rd Edition - IOB with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. She is holding a book that is most likely a Bible and has "2008" in raised letters on the front of her skirt. The inside of the bell is marked Goebel in blue lettering and has a sticker "China Handcrafted". Goebel has been making fine ceramic and porcelain items in Germany since 1871 and is well-known for their Hummel figurines.  They have also made many fine quality figurines and ornaments in a series such as the annual angel bell Christmas tree ornaments that were first produced in 1976.  Sometime in the 21st century, they began producing these in Asia. This 2008 ornament is the 33rd edition.  This angel bell is about 2-5/8 inches tall and about 1-3/4 inches in diameter at the bottom of her skirt.  She is holding a book that is most likely a Bible and has "2008" in raised letters on the front of her skirt.  She has a gold-tone metal hanger at the top of her head for attaching a hook or string for hanging that extends inside to a gold-tone rod that holds the small glass clapper.  The inside of the bell is marked Goebel in blue lettering and has a sticker "China Handcrafted". The bell is in excellent unused condition - it may have been taken out of the box for the first time when I photographed it for the listing. The box measures about 3-3/8x2-1/2x2-1/2 and has info about Goebel and the angel bell.  It still has the original $35.00 price tag attached to one side and the original plastic bag and paper packing material.  It is in good condition with the exception of remnants of a price label as shown in the photos.
