Generous bezel with small irregular shaped flat coral piece center set in small round bezel. For your consideration: A truly unique vintage handmade pendant with sterling silver chain. Providence unknown (except for Italian chain.) Perhaps a Mexican piece. No discovered markings for pendant. The metal appears to be sterling as it polishes like silver and displays no magnetic properties. The oval pendant surface is domed, set with genuine crushed turquoise in a sterling bezel with braided rim. At top, a (swinging) sterling cross set with (6) round genuine coral beads.* Generous bezel with small irregular shaped flat coral** piece center set in small round bezel. Sterling silver manufactured HCT Italian chain is a unique twisted serpentine style with a nice sparkle on edging and lobster closure. Pendant was on this chain when it was acquired. Unique piece that you won’t see every day and you will enjoy wearing. - oval pendent is approximately 2.5” long x 1.5” wide - cross is approximately 1.25” long x .75” wide - tapered bezel is a bit less than 1/2” long - HCT neck chain is approximately 18” and weighs approximately 11 grams * one round coral bead set in cross (far right) has a small drill hole exposed (see photo.) ** small coral piece set in bale has a tiny flea bite as shown.
