THIS WAS FOR A 1968 EXHIBITION OF THE WORKS OF HENRI DE TOULOUSE-LAUTREC AT THE LOUISIANA MUSEUM OF MODERN ART IN DENMARK. The exhibition ran from March 23- April 28, 1968. When all is said and done, with matting on the edges and quality framing, this lithograph could be made to look fantastic. PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS ON ZOOM FUNCTION AS THIS POSTER WAS TAPED TO A WALL USING TWO SIDED TAPE ON THE REAR, HAS A NUMBER OF HANDLING CREASES AND A COUPLE OF SHORT MARGIN TEARS TO THE BOTTOM,  AND ROUGH EDGES.  -THIS WAS FOR A 1968 EXHIBITION OF THE WORKS OF HENRI DE TOULOUSE-LAUTREC AT THE LOUISIANA MUSEUM OF MODERN ART IN DENMARK. THIS LITHOGRAPH WAS PRODUCED BY BENGSTONS LITOGRAFISKA AB IN STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN. I believe that the original poster from 1891 was titled Moulin Rouge La Goulue. The exhibition ran from March 23- April 28, 1968. The poster is approximately 24.25 inches wide and 33.25 inches tall.  CONDITION: 1- THE POSTER IS CURRENTLY ROLLED AND WILL BE MAILED ROLLED. 2- THE POSTER HAD BEEN PUT UP ON A BEDROOM WALL WITH TWO SIDED FOAM TAPE SQUARES, WITH THREE ON THE TOP AND THREE ON THE BOTTOM (PHOTO 13 and After) 3- THE FIRST 12 PHOTOS ARE OF THE FRONT OF THE POSTER. THERE IS SIGNIFICANT EDGE MARGIN WEAR (PHOTO 6,7, 10, 11, 12) 4- THE BOTTOM EDGE HAS A SHORT MARGIN TEAR (PHOTO 1, 8, & 16) THAT EXTENDS VERY SLIGHTLY INTO THE IMAGE (PHOTO 21) ALONG WITH A SECOND SHORTER TEAR ON BOTTOM EDGE (PHOTO 17) JUST LEFT OF PRINTER'S INFORMATION (PHOTO 22) 5- DESPITE EDGE CREASES THAT LOOK A BIT LIKE TEARS (PHOTO 9) , THERE ARE NO FURTHER TEARS.  6- THE TOP EDGE HAS EDGE SMASHING AND CORNER CREASES FROM CORNER TO CORNER (PHOTO 10 & 11) WITH MOST OF THE EDGE DAMAGE ON THE SIDES. LOWER RIGHT SIDE OF POSTER IS ROUGH FOR ABOUT 9 INCHES (PHOTO 2, 6, 7)  THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THE EDGES ARE GOING TO HAVE TO BE HIDDEN FOR FRAMING. IN ADDITION, THE BOTTOM THREE INCHES HAVE SIGNIFICANT HANDLING/ROLLING CREASES, AS DO THE TOP FOUR INCHES. This is a very uncommon poster on thick and heavy poster stock.  When all is said and done, with matting on the edges and quality framing, this lithograph could be made to look fantastic  Bengstons Litografiska AB in Stockholm, Sweden  Because the poster is more than 22 inches wide, it will cost more to ship.
