Broussillon, (Alfred Broussillon 1859–1922), who was a renowned late 19th- to early 20th-century French master painter specializing in hand-painted Limoges porcelain. This Extremely Rare Antique Limoges Rococo Style Charger Plate is made in France intricately hand painted. In amazing condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or fading, this gorgeous plate is believed to have a 22k or 24k gold rim. This particular pattern is very rare and hard to find, especially in this excellent condition!! Features a vibrant colored mother duck (hen) and her three ducklings wading into a beautiful pond surrounded by dense foliage. Believed to be produced from 1900 to 1910. Measures 13-1/4" in diameter and is 2" in height and weighs 10-1/2 ounces. The painting is signed by artist,  A. Broussillon, (Alfred Broussillon  1859–1922), who was a renowned late 19th- to early 20th-century French master painter specializing in hand-painted Limoges porcelain. These plates were typically intended as a display piece rather than for functional dining, as noted by the attached original hanging wire on back of plate. Stamp on back is Limoges France.   This impressive piece of artistry would be an excellent piece for any antique Limoges collection!!!
