This solid “hammered” brass planter features a distinctive pot-belly silhouette, a flared rim, and an integrated decorative brass rope wrap with ball tassels. I noticed as I was uploading photos that the rope wrap is uneven around the pot neck. The rope is not attached all the way around to the neck and can be adjusted. I was unaware that I was moving it as I took the pictures. It will settle evenly. These planters were frequently manufactured in India during the late 20th century. They are fabulous as cachepots for indoor plants, or as an accent on a shelf or bookcase. This vintage brass has some age on it (see photos) and a lovely patina. Condition: Used.
