Produced by Sango in China during the late twentieth century. Nova Brown #4933 uses a reactive two-tone glaze, resulting in natural variation in color, shading, and glaze flow from piece to piece. Sango Nova Brown pattern #4933 stoneware group consisting of two extra large Grand Mugs, a creamer, and a covered sugar bowl with its original lid.  Each piece has a rounded stoneware body finished in a warm tan glaze transitioning to deep chocolate brown around the rim and upper portions. The Grand Mugs have generously proportioned bodies with rounded handles, while the creamer has a sculptural pulled spout and high loop handle. The covered sugar bowl repeats the rounded form with a fitted domed lid. Produced by Sango in China during the late twentieth century. Nova Brown #4933 uses a reactive two-tone glaze, resulting in natural variation in color, shading, and glaze flow from piece to piece. Grand Mugs each measure approx. 6.5 in. wide × 4 in. tall; 4.75 in. bowl diameter. Creamer measures approx. 4.5 in. tall × 5.5 in. wide. Covered sugar bowl measures approx. 4.75 in. diameter × 4.5 in. tall including lid. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs; light normal wear and natural variation in the reactive glaze are present throughout.  Condition: Used.
