Very light normal surface and shelf wear; the mugs appear to have seen little use. Vintage 1970s Brown and Cream Stoneware Mugs, Set of Four Set of four unsigned vintage stoneware coffee mugs. Purchased in Southern California in the 70's, manufacturing location unknown. These are small 4-5oz mugs, basically a small coffee or cappuccino. The color recalls period restaurant ware, that iconic brown coffee cup color, but with a lighter more decorative profile, slender loop,  curled lower terminal. Approx 125 ml (4.2oz) practical fill level. Condition Very light normal surface and shelf wear; the mugs appear to have seen little use. No chips, cracks, repairs, or interior staining observed. Exposed cream-colored foot rings show light contact wear. Minor variations in glaze coverage and pooling are original production characteristics. All four mugs are unsigned.
