The leather is beautifully supple, garment-soft, and fully pliable, making it perfect as a rustic cabin wall hanger, a desk display, or a source of premium fur material for fly-tying and native crafts. Pelt Specifications & Dimensions: Species: North American Grey Fox ( Urocyon cinereoargenteus ) Total Length: Approximately 43 to 44 inches from the nose to the tip of the tail. Width: Measures roughly 11 inches across the rear flanks  and 8-1/2 inches across the shoulders. Tanning Style: Soft garment-tan (very bendable, not a stiff board-tan). Condition Notes: Fur: Thick, plush, and clean. It holds its natural sheen beautifully and does not suffer from slipping or heavy shedding. Tail Repair: The tail has a clean, previous structural repair where it was neatly sewn back together roughly 8 inches from the tip.
