They are both well cared for, properly sharpened, and ready to go to the wood. (2) A Stanley Number 78 Duplex Rabbet Plane. The sole is 8 ¼” X 1.5”. The iron is 1.5” and is the original Stanley iron. Offered for your consideration are (2) Stanley Rabbet Planes. These planes are from my shop to yours. They are both well cared for, properly sharpened, and ready to go to the wood. (1) A Stanley number 192 Rabbet Plane, Made in the U.S.A.. The sole is 8 1/8” X 1”. The iron is 1” and is the original Stanley Iron. The Depth Gage adjusts properly. This plane is in excellent vintage condition in every way. The Japaning is a solid 99%. No rust or pitting. (2) A Stanley Number 78 Duplex Rabbet Plane. The sole is 8 ¼” X 1.5”. The iron is 1.5” and is the original Stanley iron. The depth gage adjusts properly. I do not have a fence for this plane. The plane is in excellent condition in every way. The Japaning is also 99%.
