Construction: hinged clip backs with a jump-ring drop. Vintage cameo dangle clip earrings — a cream lady's profile on a black ground, ringed with clear rhinestones, on silver-tone clips. A pretty Victorian-revival pair from the mid-20th century. Each earring is an oval molded cameo in cream on a black background, framed by a halo of prong-set clear rhinestones, hanging from a silver-tone clip topped with a small black stone. The oval swings freely from the clip for a little movement. The cameos are the same profile on both earrings, facing the same direction. The backs of the ovals are plain polished silver tone. Construction: hinged clip backs with a jump-ring drop. MARK: none found; unsigned. MEASUREMENTS: each earring approximately 1 1/2 inches long overall; the cameo oval is about 1 inch by 3/4 inch.
