Vintage Joan Rivers beaded station necklace — a long, wearable mix of turquoise-color nuggets, honey and teal glass, and earth-tone beads on a gold-tone chain. Signed Joan Rivers on the oval hangtag at the clasp. This is from the Joan Rivers Classics Collection era of the 1990s–2000s, when her beaded station necklaces were sold on QVC and became one of her most collected lines. The design alternates bead stations of different sizes and shapes: turquoise-color nuggets and ovals, pale blue ovals, faceted honey-gold glass rounds and flat ovals, teal-blue faceted glass rondelles, tiger's-eye-look barrel beads, and picture-jasper-look rounds and ovals. Each bead is wire-linked on gold-tone eye pins between short lengths of oval-link chain, so the necklace drapes and moves well. Construction: gold-tone eye-pin links and oval chain, lobster clasp with a beaded extender chain and the signed Joan Rivers tag. MARK: Oval hangtag stamped "Joan Rivers" with copyright symbol, at the clasp. MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 31 inches long, plus an extender chain of about 3 inches (approximately 31 to 34 inches wearable). Largest nugget beads approximately 3/4 inch. Weight 67.5 grams. MATERIALS: Gold-tone plated base metal chain and findings; glass beads and stone-look beads.
