This exact dress was the design studio prototype for what eventually became the famous J.Crew Taryn Gown / Crinkle Regina Gown (Style #22513). While retail production versions were made with a polyester lining, this rare sample piece features 100% pure silk for both the outer shell and the lining, making it far higher quality than the mass-market release.
