The solitaire stone is an oval high top pink-coral art glass stone (simulation of angel skin coral) which is held in place by multiple open prongs in a collet. Please read the description and take a look at the pictures,  as I may unintentionally omit something from the written description.  Also take a look at the item details as they are part of the description as well.  I have tried to show pictures from every angle so you can assess the condition for yourself.  HEIRLOOM QUALITY HAUTE COUTURE DESIGNER VINTAGE BUY IT NOW,  With the option to make an offer.   You may also contact me to negotiate a  PRICE     All reasonable offers are considered.  There is a matching necklace, bracelet and pair of dangle earrings being sold in another auction if you are interested.   The  set  in  t his a uc t ion as well as the matching se t  are quite rare.  I will consider all reasonable offers if you want to negotiate a price for all of the pieces.  MIRIAM HASKELL 2-PIECE SUITE Variegated Faux Angel Skin Coral Gilt Brass Accents For your consideration a wonderful 2 piece suite created for Haskell CIRCA 1970's.   It is attributed to designer Larry Vrba.    The set comprises a fabulous brooch and matching pair of button style earrings.  The brooch is oval symmetric 3-dimensional designed with thick textured rope gold gilt brass chain links, pink coral art glass twisted cylindrical beads,  oval high top cabochons, as well as small marbled dusty pink glass beads. The beads and cabochons are simulation of angel skin coral.   The beads are accentuated by small gold gilt raw brass bead caps.   The huge oval cabochon is nested in its own collet and held in place by small prongs.   The other beads are hand wired to the filigree gold gilt brass base.   The back of the brooch has an oval cartouche tag signed “MIRIAM HASKELL” attached.   The pin opens at an angle 3/4 way.    The earrings are solitaire button style earrings.  The solitaire stone is an oval high top pink-coral art glass stone (simulation of angel skin coral) which is held in place by multiple open prongs in a collet.  The cabochon in each earring is accentuated by a ring of gold gilt brass chain of chunky cable links.   The earrings fasten with lever back clips with screws which allows for adjustment to how they fit. Both earrings are signed “MIRIAM HASKELL” on the underside, as well as “HASKELL” on the ridge of the lever.   The beads and findings used in the construction of these pieces are imported and are of the best quality.  The construction is solid and smooth and the pieces all have a good weight.   You will not be disappointed with this purchase.  DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT :  All measurement and weights are approximate   Earrings ~  Each earrings is 1⅛”L x 1”W x ½” in thickness.  Each earring weighs 11 grams.   Brooch ~ 2”L x 1½”W x ¾” in thickness. It weighs 33 grams   CONDITION: This is pre-owned vintage jewelry.  It has been gently worn.  The pieces were stored in temperature controlled dust free environment for many years.   Structurally, the pieces are all well preserved and in excellent vintage condition with minor tarnish on the gold gilt brass finding.  There are no damaged parts, and all parts are original.  The pin of the brooch is sturdy, sharp and straight.  It fits into the roll over latch which fastens securely.  The earring clip backs and screws all fasten securely and easily adjust.  There are no broken, chipped or missing beads.   PLEASE REMEMBER, THAT MOST  VINTAGE PIECES ARE FRAGILE DUE TO AGE and should be gently worn  and  handled with care .
