The pin back issigned ©Corocraft in script — the mark is photographed enlarged as the last picture so you can read it yourself. It reads from across a room. Straight pin, working roll-over catch: you can actually wear it, not just tray it. What You're Getting A signed Corocraft domed enamel flower bouquet brooch — eight little purple daisies with clear rhinestone centres , each on its own wire stem, bunched over a collar of green enamel leaves so the whole thing stands up off the fabric rather than lying flat. It is the construction that dates it: the petals are individually cut and pinched, the stems are set at different heights so the flowers cluster like a real posy, and the reverse is fully finished with a hinged pin and rolling safety catch . The pin back is signed ©Corocraft in script — the mark is photographed enlarged as the last picture so you can read it yourself. Corocraft was the upper tier of the Coro house, the line they put their better enamelling and stone-setting into, and a signed piece is worth meaningfully more than the same brooch unsigned. Two things I am not claiming: there is no sterling mark on it, so this is the plated base-metal line rather than the 1940s Coro Craft sterling, and the copyright symbol beside the name points to a later rather than an early piece. Beyond that I am not dating it. Condition & Details Wearable vintage costume jewellery with honest enamel wear. All eight rhinestones are present , none cloudy or chipped, all still tight in their cups. The pin is straight and the safety catch closes properly . Size , measured against a tape in photo 3: about 1 3/4 in across and roughly 3/4 in deep from the fabric. The flaws: Enamel loss and darkening to some of the green leaves. Plating wear, tarnish and a dark patch on the back plate , plus some corrosion speckling between the stems. Why You Might Want It It reads from across a room. A domed cluster brooch with rhinestone centres catches light in a way a flat pin never does. Signed Corocraft — Coro’s better line, and the signature is what separates a $15 unsigned bouquet pin from a collectable one. The mechanism works. Straight pin, working roll-over catch: you can actually wear it, not just tray it. Purple and green is an easy wear on a coat lapel, a beret, a denim jacket or a scarf, and it flatters most spring colouring. Enamel wear is the honest kind of ageing — it keeps the price sensible and, on a piece this bright, it barely reads at wearing distance. Shipping & Returns It ships boxed and padded inside a bubble mailer, pin closed and stems supported. Buying more than one item? Ask and I will combine. 30-day returns accepted. Buyer pays return postage and the item must come back as it was sent. Every flaw I could find is photographed and written up above — please read it, and ask me anything before you buy.
