This is a fantastic king/king plus bedspread coverlet from the 1970’s. Patchwork velvet on the front with cotton like quilting in back. End corners are curved for a nice finish. End corners are curved for a nice finish. The colors are gorgeous, deep with some awesome patterns. This blanket is heavy! It’s about 11 lbs. The old tag does state that it must be dry cleaned. No one has time for that or the money so I gave it a go and soaked it, rinsed it and hung to dry. It looks amazing, no issues. Backing is a bit pink from bleeding pigments from velvet. But it’s clean!! I have inspected it repeatedly and I see 9 areas where repairs are needed. I could have missed some, but if I did, they’d be separations of the panels. Largest issues is on the hem, at bottom of blanket. It may need a patch. I have included photos of the issues I see. Please feel free to ask questions. 118 inches x 112 inches.
