View VINTAGE 1942 HOLY COMMUNION GIFT SET W EXTRA HOLY CARDS PURSE ROSARY with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. This set includes a prayer book, a rosary, 3 holy cards, 2 booklets, and a little purse. They are in the bottom half of the original box. The Holy cards and the booklets all look good. The purse is dirty and shows wear, especially the handle. I was passing through Seneca Kansas Recently and came across a huge sale.  A young couple had purchased a 100 + year old house that had sat vacant for decades.  They removed all the treasures in the house and were selling it all.  This little set was one of the items in their sale. This set includes a prayer book, a rosary, 3 holy cards, 2 booklets, and a little purse.  They are in the bottom half of the original box. Condition - The purse is dirty and shows wear, especially the handle.  This measures 5.5 by 5 inches. The Holy cards and the booklets all look good.  The rosary is metal with glass beads.  It is broken and the metal links are very corroded. The prayer book has peeling to the cover and the paper on the spine is missing.  This measures 4 by 2.5.  It is illustrated. There you go.  A neat collection to add to your collection. Recently, I was fortunate enough to attend a Midwest Country auction and picked up quite a few authentic Victorian ladies clothing and shoes.  I also was able to obtain some Victorian and early 1900 purses and bags. These are not reproductions but are original. It will take a while to list all of it but please check out our women's clothing and purses and hats store categories as we will combine shipping.  All flaws as I see will be listed.  Some of the items are wearable and some are not.  Please, as always, take a look at all the photos. Today we are featuring a Victorian wedding gown / suit.  This is made of satin with lace and is ivory in color.  This has hooks and eyes for the closure on the jacket.  The buttons are for show.  There is one button missing.  The skirt snaps up the side.  The skirt is lined but I do not know what kind of fabric it is.  Please see the last photo.  This does have all over age spotting as you can tell in the photos.  The llace looks good but does have a few loose areas.  Hard to even tell.
