You must admit, this bookcase certainly has plenty of character!   This bookcase is a OOAK (One of a kind) miniature and although I build others, no two are ever quite alike.   Each book and magazine are made of wood, papers, and other materials and do not open.   The bookcase is unfinished wood   MEASUREMENTS: It measures 3.5 wide, 4.75 tall, 1" deep. There are three shelves containing 47 books and a magazine!   Each book and magazine are made one at a time and glued together into a visually interesting display in your project. The height of the books vary, the tallest usually less than 7/8". The height, width, and thicknesses of these books differ individually in order to appear more realistic   . This bookcase is made to 1/12 scale, also known as one-inch scale (or 1" scale), meaning 1 inch = 1 foot . It is the most common scale for dollhouse miniatures.   Please know that no other items like the rug  or the background in the photograph are included. The penny in the picture is also not included because it is a big part of my retirement fund. This vintage bookcase is handcrafted in basswood by a miniaturist right here in the United States. Each is one of a kind.   Again, please note these are "filler" type books made with wood. They do not open nor are they readable. They have no writing on them.   They are designed simply to look great in your project.     LEGAL SCHMEGAL STUFF   This is a custom designed adult collectible miniature.  Miniatures are by their very nature somewhat fragile. They are not intended for children and not a toy. Miniatures can often be a  choking hazard.  Nothing is edible unless you are a goat     About me: This deluxe bookcase  has been handcrafted by me, a miniaturist right here in the United States. All my work is comes from my own  sloppy workbench. I maintain a non-smoking,  no pet environment. I have been building  and displaying award winning miniatures since 1990 in several states.   I have 100% positive feedback and have been selling on eBay since 2006. .
