The back of this pendant is almost as beautiful as the front with white gold filigree, an open-worked frame that lets the maximum amount of light into the stones. The front of the pendant features a center area of 6 Red Rubies that are tension set against each other in what is often called an invisible mounting. Each Ruby is an emerald-cut stone. The Rubies are surrounded by 22 faceted .05 carat white diamonds that are prong-set in a halo type frame for the Ruby stones. The total gram weight of the entire piece including the beautiful, delicate chain is 4.8 grams-all white gold, 14kt. It is in nearly new condition. The piece has never been appraised.
