The pendants are not seconds -the chains are all what is called new 19" 304 Grade Stainless Steel made overseas.  The pendants and chains are easily cleaned by use of acetone and cotton swab.  Sometimes I will substitute with Stainless Steel Snake chains. They come on a card stating stainless steel-ready to re-sell, gift, or wear. Also one great feature is the pendants can be removed and placed on other chains. They, the pendants, are attached via a sturdy split ring.
