The contemporary pendant designed in a typical antique rectangular and step Art Deco style comprising an extremely large natural untreated aquamarine centerpiece, surrounded by a diamond paved border, further decorated with pyramidal staircase like crown atop formed by 4 diamond paved steps of different length. The large natural aquamarine of an emerald cut measuring 20.4x17.1x10.4mm and having an estimated weight of 26 carats, exhibits a fine sky blue color with a slight greenish tint. The gem stone has a superb clarity and is completely loupe clean and transparent. Most likely of a Brazil origin. There is a total of 72 round brilliant cut diamonds set throughout the pendant with a total diamond weight TDW embossed at the reverse of the pendant and estimated to be of 1.68 carats. All diamonds have a superb H white color and an average VS1 clarity, measured within settings. The pendant measures 36mm (1.42") tall, 23.3mm (0.92") wide and is 11mm (0.44") thick. There is a nice and intricate 18K white gold chain attached to it which is 40cm (15.75") long. Gross weight of the whole necklace including pendant and chain is 22.2 grams in 18K gold. The reverse of the pendant is marked 750 for 18 karat gold content, as well as 1,68 for total carat weight of the diamonds.
