Many of them have been passed on from generation to generation over 100's of years. Vintage Gold Tone Maltese Cross Red Enamel Coat of Arms Family Crest Pendant Necklace. The pendant measures approximately 2 1/2 inches and weighs approximately 53.05 grams (including the chain). The textured Maltese cross with attached red enameled shield depicting a cross, fleur de lis, crown and lions, with crossed swords and laurel leaf accents. The pendant is suspended from an approximately 21 inch long textured curb link chain with fold over clasp. Neither piece is marked. A great piece for cosplay, theater and other heraldic themed events. My father and my husbands father brought back many lovely pieces of jewelry, porcelain, clothing, perfumes, and household items to their wives, sweethearts, moms and family members upon their return from Europe after WWII.
