This would be a great addition to any collection or for the special person in your life. This is a beautiful Art Nouveau gold plated mesh chain watch fob/holder or chatelaine. The mesh chain measures approximately 4-1/2 Inches long by 1/2 Inch across. There is a beautiful box style locket with a pelican on one side and a plate of the gemstone deep red carnelian on the other. The mesh chain has an oval shaped buckle slide where the locket is attached. The locket measures approximately 1 Inch tall by 9/16 Inch across by 1/4 Inch thick (in the closed position). There is a 5 Inch long chain that is attached to the upper clasp portion of the mesh chain with a hook on the end to attach a pocket watch, keys, or other accoutrement. There is an elaborately designed locking clasp at the very top to attach the chatelaine to a pocket, waistband, shirt pocket, etc. The entire piece is a real statement piece and conversation starter.
