(The brooch is unmarked, checked by a jeweler (sterling silver no lower than 800 proof). The original c-hook clasp is secure. The inside of the brooch is stamped "P.Y." and "1866". The condition is antique very good, considering the age of the brooch; on one side there is a tiny chip of gold-dublet, visible only under magnification, see photo 7). Vintage antique small brooch of typical Biedermeier design, made of silver, with gold-duble gold plated on the front side.
