The necklace consists of three nested strands of beads in a sophisticated combination of textures and subtle hues of cream or beige. The beads include sugar glass beads with white enamel caps; pearlescent gumball beads with white enamel caps, faceted flat and round aurora borealis beads, plus tiny seed bead spacers. The findings are especially lovely – leaves and a flower of silver tone metal. The necklace fastens with a hook onto an extender. The hook is signed “VENDOME.” The necklace has a wearable length, measured at the shortest strand, ranging from approximately 16 1/2 inches to about 18 1/2 inches. Some of the pearlescent and sugared beads show surface wear as do some of the enamel caps, but the necklace remains a fabulous example of Vendome design.
