This lovely brooch & earring set was made in the 1940s. It features a Modernist Calla Lily design created in Copper. The copper reflects the purplish color in a glow like effect around the center stones. This lovely brooch & earring set was made in the 1940s. It features a Modernist Calla Lily design created in Copper. The flower centers are a pinkish purple acrylic like material (not exactly sure what it is) that compliments the copper color. The copper reflects the purplish color in a glow like effect around the center stones. The earrings have screw backs that allow you to adjust them easily for your comfort. The brooch and earring design elements are made of copper and not attracted to a magnet. The brooch mechanism and earring backs are not copper and do attract to a magnet. Brooch: Height- 2 1/4", Width- 2 5/8" Earrings: Height- 7/8", Width- 5/8" No chips or dents. Pin clasp and earring backs work well. These are vintage and have been worn. They do show some tarnish in places. I did not want to clean them with copper cleaner as it would disturb their lovely patina. Further cleaning has been left to purchasers discretion.
