This piece is in excellent condition, with very few signs of wear (beyond what might be expected of a 100+ year old porcelain treasure) and no signs of use.. Both nozzles (the receptacles that hold the candles) appear to be in virgin condition. This is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most fantastic candelabras I have yet to come across. The condition, detailing, delicate gilt work, and pigments used are extraordinary, especially for our modern market. You'll notice little to no fading in the paint. These colors are as vivid as they were on the day this candelabra was crafted. Two cherubs adorn this piece - one sitting between the nozzles, and one floating towards the bottom. A majority of my Capodimonte pieces sport a fair amount of floral detailing and gilt embellishments. This candelabra is no exception.
