This is a vintage, hand carved and hand painted wooden figurine of a fisherman or sailor, likely carved in the 1980's in a folk art style. It is approximately 7" tall and 2.5" wide. There is some wear and imperfections, with some scuffing of the soft wood and paint. See photos for details. Likely American or Canadian, belonged to an artist in Maine.  Items are described to the best of my ability, and I try to capture details in the photos.
