The bowl is handmade in Italy, using traditional pottery techniques and production styles, such as Majolica and American Empire. It features a round shape, a fruit theme, and a lidded design, making it a unique and functional piece. This vintage bowl is in excellent condition, ready to be cherished by its new owner. Appears to be three spots on the inside of the lid that looks like adjustments by the potter before firing. Cutting marks can be seen and seem to align with what would make the lid fit appropriately. These so no look like chips to me. They look made as part of the finishing process. Please see and make your determination. No areas of damage noted. There is crazing appropriate for age.
