This Mary Gregory style Victorian blue 7-piece beverage serving set is a stunning addition to any glassware collection. Purchased in Europe from an antique dealer about 40 years ago and never used, kept on display only. The hand-blown glassware set features 6 tumbler glasses and 1 pitcher. The rich turquoise blue hue is both striking and timeless. The glass production style lends an artisanal feel to each piece. Hand-painted with Victorian images of young boys and girls, three girls and three boys on the six tumblers. The pitcher features a girl. Dimensions: The pitcher is 11” tall and has a 3-1/2” diameter at the spout and about 5” diameter at the base. The tumblers are each about 6” tall, 2-3/4” diameter at the top and 2-1/4” diameter at the base. Each item is trimmed in gold finish. Capacity: each tumbler holds 10 ounces in the pitcher holds about 52 ounces (measured). In mint antique condition. No known flaws. Some small bubbles are in the glassware, typical of hand-blown materials. Hand-painted decoration is in mint vintage condition, showing texture and detail with each brush stroke. Several stickers from the antique dealer are still on some of the items. Professionally packaged for worry-free shipment from my smoke-free and pet-free home. Condition: Used.
