From the mid-90s until about 2013 my personal interest in the hobby was put on hold as raising a family and my career to support my family were the priority. This is a vintage 10 card lot of  New York Yankee great ,  Don Mattingly!   ALL cards in this lot are 33 years old or more and feature one of the All-time great all around players in MLB history!    Mattingly was voted to the AL All Star  team 6  times !  Mattingly's career was cut short by back issues but he still amassed over 2,100 hits and almost 1,100 RBI's.  Mattingly won the batting title, AL MVP and 9 times he won the the gold glove award.    The consummate professional, he was arguably the best and surely one of the most dominant players in his era and likely a Hall of Famer!  Get this lot before he gets inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame!    This lot includes 1 card of each listed below:   1987 Topps #500  1988 Donruss #217 1988 Score card #1 of 660 (great card, great set, color photo front and back with outstanding player bio) 1988 Topps #300 1989 Fleer #258  1989 Donruss #74 1989 Donruss #26 (Diamond King) 1989 Topps #700 1990 Upper Deck #191 1991 Leaf #430  (Getting tough to find, books for $1 to $2)      As I have a few of these lots, the cards shown in the scans are examples of the card quality and not necessarily the cards you will receive.  All the cards you will receive will be in  Near Mint (NM) condition or better, may are NMMT!   As was the case in those days, some cards may be off center but none will be miscut, meaning the inner frame of the photo on the front of the card will not touch the card edge.  If you have questions please contact me.  To help you understand how I've evaluated card condition, included is a sample condition guideline showing what grading scale is used by the 3 major card grading companies / authenticators.   As a potential buyer, I'd like you to know a little about me, I'm a card collector and have been since the late 60's, baseball cards are my primary collecting interest.  During the mid-80's I started attending card shows to buy, sell and trade.  From the mid-90s until about 2013 my personal interest in the hobby was put on hold as raising a family and my career to support my family were the priority.  Currently, I have raw and graded baseball cards available dating back to the late 50's and raw football, basketball and hockey from the early to mid-70's in varying condition.  My 'inventory' also includes unopened wax, cello and racks.  At the moment I just don't have time to list all the cards I'm willing to sell, but if there is something you are looking for, let me know and I'll see if I have the item available. There is no return on sales of raw, ungraded, cards.  If there is a mistake, please contact me and we can try to work something out.  Please  review my feedback from other buyers, I think you'll find that I'm a very  "buyer friendly"  seller.   To minimize shipping costs to the buyers, this lot will be shipped in a plain white envelope (PWE).  If the buyer requests shipping in a padded envelope it will cost extra. Shipping fees listed are for delivery within the continental 48 states of the USA using USPS.  International rates will vary and will charged extra, with the exact amount to be determined at the time of purchase.  Shipments are typically mailed twice per week, on Saturdays and once during midweek.  If you need an item with expedited shipping please notify me, while there is no guarantees that I'll be able to expedite the item(s), I will do my best to accommodate your request. Combined shipping is available and is based on the following:    a) The buyer will pay the first or highest shipping fee and add $1.00 for each additional single graded card or $0.25 for each additional raw, ungraded, card. b) If unless the value is more than $200, I will insure the package through USPS, in which case the shipping costs may be more.  If the buyer accepts the risk of the item(s) getting lost or damaged the buyer can request the insurance be waived. c) Unless mutually agreed otherwise, the combined shipping is only available for items purchased within a 7 day period starting with the first purchase. d) In cases where multiple items are purchased, please don't pay until you receive the updated invoice. Unless I've agreed otherwise, payment must be received within 7 days of the final purchase.
