Thi is an authentic piece of Mid-Century Modern American art glass, hand-blown by the Rainbow Art Glass Company of West Virginia in the 1960s. The interior is clean and free of water staining or cloudy residue. The upper rim is fire-polished and entirely smooth/glossy. This piece was intentionally crafted to be used as an open vase or carafe (it does not require a ground-glass stopper). The bottom features the  "snapped" pontil scar typical of hand-blown Rainbow Art Glass. This is a characteristic of the handmade manufacturing process, not damage. Condition: Used.
