These were made in early 1900s in Venice Italy and traded in West Africa. These are 4 layers of glass that were hand cut and polished that create the beautiful chevron design. They are over 100 years old and have been traded throughout 3 different continents, but they are very well made and in great condition. ***You will receive ONE of the actual strands of beads from group in photos*** These are beautiful rare green Aja chevrons and these beads are called Watermelon Chevron beads because their stripes and color look like the outside of the watermelon and have a layer of red inside.
