This shade has 8 panels of caramel-colored slag glass on top and a border of blue slag glass below, set within an ornate metal frame - absolutely stunning metal work details, fabulous quality, and a beautiful aged patina. It is a fabulous collectible item from the late 19th or early 20th century, typically associated with the Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts movements. It measures approximately 21” in diameter, 14” tall and weighs almost 20 pounds! This shade is in very nice antique condition with a beautiful aged patina. I do not see any breaks or cracks. Please review the listing photos and video to make your own assessment of the items condition prior to purchasing as I am human and may have missed something. I will do my best to describe any flaws or defects.**** ****IF THERE ARE ISSUES WITH SHIPPING**** I try very hard to over protect every item I ship using bubble wrap, lots of paper, and plenty of recycled padding so that there is absolutely NO movement in the package. The post office is normally very good about delivering on time and delivering the item intact, however, there is occasionally breakage and or damage. If your item arrives damaged or broken do NOT throw ANYTHING away. Please send me pictures of the box, packing materials and issues with the item. I will file a claim and then will send you the claim number. The post office will require that the box, packing material and broken/damaged item be brought to your local post office (I am told that they will return the item to you after completion of the claim). Once you have dropped the item at your local post office I will issue our agreed upon refund through Etsy. If you instead prefer to pay to have your item shipped back to me that is fine as well but please make sure to include the original box and all original packing material. I will issue our agreed upon refund once I receive the item.
