TAPESTRY EVENING BAG BRASS FRAME CHAIN STRAP VICTORIAN SCENE FLOWERS Up for auction is this spectacular vintage 1920 - 1930s French tapestry evening bag.  Just look at the pictures and see how beautiful this evening bag is.  Both the front and back feature a gorgeous Victorian scene with plenty of flowers.  The brass frame has a stylish tilt closure on the top.  This bag has a chain strap.  The interior has a copper / bronze lining with a divider in the center.  As the pictures demonstrate this tapestry bag is in very good vintage condition with some cosmetic scuffs on the inside lining.  This bag is from my grandmother's estate.  She stored this bag in a box marked 1920s - 1930s French tapestry bag.  We have tried to research this bag but have not found any information on it.  The frame has what looks like a "Q" on each side at the hinge.  If anybody knows any more about this bag we would love to hear from you.
