Antique Triangle Scrap Quilt made around the time of the Civil War in Accomack County, Virginia by my great-great grandmother, Polly Haley Bull. Probably around the time of her marriage in 1860. Colorful triangle to triangle squares, cut from scrap fabric and hand sewn. Overall size 76 inches x 72 inches. One square in a corner was replaced with pink color triangles different from the rest of the quilt. As shown in the photos there are areas of wear along the edges, and some minor tears which can be repaired by anyone familiar with quilting. Some areas of discoloring as well, mostly on the underside. This quilt has been stored in a cedar chest at my grandparents house for many years. Category: Antiques › Primitives.
