Vintage Occupied Japan porcelain swan shaped ashtray with rose and light blue colored roses and flowers lined with delicate gold. No chips, cracks or fractures in the glaze. All flower and swan details are in excellent condition. Slight scuffs on bottom where item has rubbed from being set on surfaces. Marked "Chikusa Made in Occupied Japan" on bottom. Chikusa is not the manufacturer but rather the district of Nagoya City in Japan were these porcelain items were made and shipped. A nice example of tobacciana that can be functional, collected or repurposed as a very lovely trinket dish.
