I believe they are just glued onto the base. No prongs or bezels in sight. The links measure from 1 inch to 1 1/4 inches  tall x 7/8ths inch - 1 inch wide. There is a handcrafted hook and loop for closure.  Pre-Owned. Does need cleaned. Stones are secure.
