These plates likely date from the 1950s/1960s era. Here is a set of four (4) vintage plates from Spode: Copeland line featuring the artwork of J. Price. Ilustrations are fruits and flowers on a background of raised/embossed daisy type flowers. Scalloped edges in creamy white color. Meaures 9 inches in diameter. All pieces have stamped backmarks and numbering. These plates likely date from the 1950s/1960s era. These are used, pre-owned items. They have no chips or cracks. All have minor crazing, as would be expected with age/storage. One plate has tiny dark marks on a few of the daisy centers (see photos), which requires detailed cleaning if desired (non-detracting). One plate has two very small side spots that are not rough like a nick/fleabite, but are not smooth either; they are non-detracting and possibly the result of the manufacturing process (rough pick mark?). Overall excellent condition. This item weighs more than five (5) pounds when safely packaged for delivery. Please examine all photos closely, and ask any questions before purchasing. Enjoy!
