Johnson & Held Buffalo Warrior Belt Buckle Native Navajo Culture Vtg 70s ...an awesome and very unique old Native American Buffalo Warrior belt buckle. To the Plains Indians of America a Buffalo Headdress meant endurance, abundance, survival and power, buffalo horns were a symbols of magnificent strength and bravery, and were worn only by warriors of the highest order. This is a silver tone metal buckle with gold tone metal accents, black acrylic fill and blue stone inlay in the eyes, it was 100% handcrafted by Johnson & Held of Denver, Colorado, back in the 1970s. It is in pretty nice condition, as shown in the photos it does have some patina and some wear and tear from age or use. This buckle measures approximately 3-5/8" x 2-1/2", it fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and it weighs about 3.6 oz.
