The teapot itself has no chips or cracks and is very very clean inside. I don't believe it was ever actually used. The lid is interesting. Apparently, somehow the finial came off and someone decided it would be a good idea to attach a marble in its place. To be quite honest, I think it looks rather cool and it is securely attached, but clearly a bit different from the original. Condition: Used.
