Condition: In the case of this set one shaker is in better condition than the other. These decorative silver birds are vintage pheasant-shaped salt and pepper shakers, likely dating from the 1940s to the 1970s. Key Features Design: The set features two pheasants with long tails and etched feather details. Approximately 7”. Function: They serve as functional tableware where the heads unscrew and shaker holes on top. Markings: Stamped on the bottom with markings "C A B 959" (often associated with Czech silver). Condition: In the case of this set one shaker is in better condition than the other. The head on one has wear in the form of corrosion/pitting and I could not remove the head with basic twisting force. Applying lubricant and more force likely will free the head. There may have some scuffing, scratches, marking, dust, dirt etc.. and could likely use some More Cleaning! See photos for greater details.
