This Seminole Princess doll is from my mother LaVerne Hammond's collection of dolls. This Seminole Princess doll is from my mother LaVerne Hammond's collection of dolls. Her notecard indicates that when she acquired it in a thrift shop in 1995, a label was tied to the wrist that said--Carlson Dolls. Made in U.S.A. The label has disappeared, although the leather strap tying it to her wrist is still there. My research backs up that it is a Carlson doll as the size (7 1/2"), shape and color of the face, sleepy eyes, colorful dress trimmed in rick rack, large gold earrings, flowing black hair, movable arms, are all found on other Carlson Seminole dolls. Each of the doll's leather moccasins are trimmed with three tiny red beads. She is also wearing two strands of mixed colored beads around her neck. The doll would make a delightful addition to a collection.  I have other dolls posted from my mother's collection. If you buy other dolls at the same time, I will combine shipping and recalculate the shipping price after purchase and send you the refund for the difference through eBay.
