Martin's Natural History, Great Edition .) Edited and revised by M. Kohler, 1901. The plate was made by the lithographic firm A. Gatternicht, in Stuttgart (see printer's credit at bottom right corner). This is Plate #6: Ungeziefer und andre Insekten (Pesty Bugs and Other Insects). The page size is 9.5 x 6 inches, with the interior image measuring 7.25 x 4.75 inches. Pictured are 18 different insects at various stages of their development. The overall condition of this plate is very good. No creasing to the image. There is a small notation "12" in pencil at the top of the page (in the border), probably binder's marks. Some age toning, else in great condition. The glossy, vibrant spot varnishing (original) remains visible, giving the print colors pop. Condition: Used. Category: Art › Art Prints.
