Gold gilding along the edge and gold highlights and gold designs to the lattice openwork design. Has hand painted encrusted flowers to the outside of the bowl. Marked on the bottom with a Carl Thieme Dresden mark used starting in 1901. Made in Germany. This is a really lovely box. Measure app. 4" tall, 4" across. In very good pre- owned condition. I see no chips, cracks or repairs. Please see all pictures, I have included a lot of pictures from every angle and every side so you can see the detail in this lovely lidded box. In the last picture the very end tip of the leaf at the bottom has a white spot, it is a missed paint spot and is not chipped. This comes from a smoke free, pet free home. Condition: Used.
